Project Overview

The Stage 1 expansion of the Coonamble Feedlot was undertaken to significantly increase cattle-on-feed capacity in response to growing supply demands. PF Install Solutions was engaged to deliver key infrastructure works for two new rows of feedlot pens, contributing to the long-term development and operational efficiency of the facility.

Our Role

We delivered a complete infrastructure package including plumbing, concreting, and fencing. Our role spanned initial design input, in-house fabrication of steel components, and coordination with BK Civil (earthworks). We installed feedbunks, water and drainage systems, fencing, shade posts, and a sediment basin weir.

Challenges & Solutions

Weather required adaptive scheduling: rain was managed with BK Civil for program adjustment and early concrete pours addressed heat.

Supply logistics and equipment for batching concrete were carefully planned. Clear communication with BK Civil, other trades, and the client ensured smooth coordination throughout the project.

The Stage 1 expansion was delivered to a high standard, with PF Install Solutions executing a turnkey works package that integrated seamlessly with the broader site development.
